I fell in love with Saternow's collection in the George Billis Gallery - Chelsea, New York. The watercolor paintings are made up of several layers, up to 60, to create the soft yet gritty feel. They are fascinating to look at, and depict the somewhat disappearing parts of New York that have not yet been replaced with glass and metal buildings.
The paintings are priced between $2,800 and $10,000. The collection will be on display for a week, if you are around the area do check it out - the pictures don't do the works justice.
